Despite rising material prices and prolonged heavy rain, the DEOCA Group-led joint venture has completed more than 95% of the contract value for package XL24, which covers bridge construction across Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway project. During an inspection on September 24, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh acknowledged and commended the efforts of the project owner and contractors to accelerate construction progress.

The Minister listened to a report on project implementation.

According to the executive board of package XL24, the DEOCA Group-led joint venture is responsible for constructing 22 bridges along the route. The cumulative value of completed construction work has reached USD 24.93 million out of the contract value of USD 26.24 million, equivalent to more than 95%. The package has essentially completed all 16 bridges on the main route and the main structural works of all six bridges on the branch route. Work is now focused on the remaining items, including the installation of expansion joints and protection works around bridge abutments. All items under the package are expected to be completed in October 2026.

Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh acknowledged and commended the efforts of the project owner and contractors to accelerate construction progress.

During construction, the joint venture proactively implemented measures to address difficulties caused by rising raw material and fuel prices and prolonged heavy rain, which affected costs and construction operations. The teams increased manpower and equipment, flexibly adjusted construction plans, maintained progress and focused on completing the remaining work as scheduled.
