“DEOCA Group has promised the people of the Northeast region, as well as committed to the Government and local authorities, to open the route in 2025," said Chairman Ho Minh Hoang during his inspection of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway project near the Lunar New Year.

On the morning of January 11, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang led a delegation to inspect the construction activities and motivate the workers at the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway project just before the Lunar New Year.

The leadership of DEOCA Group presented Tet gifts to workers at the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway project.

Also joining the delegation were Mr. Ho Nghia Dung – Chairman of the Advisory Council, members of the Advisory Council, the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, representatives of investors, project companies (DNDA), contractors, and consultants.

Although the Lunar New Year was approaching, the atmosphere at the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway construction site remained lively. All construction packages were being carried out with a "3 shifts, 4 teams" spirit, determined to work through the Tet holidays.

At Km 56, Mr. Dang Tien Thang – CEO of DNDA, reported on the project's outstanding results in 2024. Regarding land clearance (GPMB), the construction units received 566.17 ha out of a total of 634.04 ha. Of which, Cao Bang province handed over 221.87 ha of 260.76 ha (85.09%), while Lang Son province handed over 344.3 ha of 373.38 ha (92.91%).

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hồ Minh Hoàng, listens to the project progress report.

However, according to Mr. Dang Tien Thang, the adjustments to the technical design, along with the impact of the new Land Law that has come into effect but lacks guiding decrees, have caused the land clearance work to only reach 85% of the 2024 plan.

"In 2025, DNDA will continue to work alongside the governments of the two provinces, using its capital to accelerate land clearance and strive to acquire the entire land area by Q2/2025," Mr. Thang affirmed.

In response to the Prime Minister's "heartfelt command" about completing the expressway from Cao Bang to Ca Mau in 2025, the project's contractors have mobilized 1,217 engineers and workers, along with more than 470 construction machines, operating across 35 fronts. As of now, the accumulated production value has reached 1,033 billion VND, exceeding the plan by 834 billion VND, a 23% increase compared to the set target.

The two tunnel sections, Dong Khe and That Khe – key highlights of the project – are two months ahead of schedule. DNDA aims to achieve a production value of 4,704 billion VND in 2025.

However, the project still faces "bottlenecks" such as the lack of disposal sites, limited material sources, and complex geological conditions.

To address these obstacles, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang requested DNDA to proactively submit petitions to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Transport, and the governments of the two provinces.

The Chairman of the Group also acknowledged the efforts of DNDA and the contractors while calling for a competitive movement to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
He emphasized: "To achieve the goal, the entire system must have a thorough plan to resolve all obstacles."

The delegation participated in cooking Chưng cake to encourage workers at the construction site.

As Tet approached, Chairman Ho Minh Hoang and the Advisory Council visited, gave gifts, and organized a Chưng cake cooking event to boost the morale of engineers and workers on-site. He also instructed the Executive Board to ensure a warm Tet atmosphere while enhancing wages, bonuses, and nutrition so that workers feel secure working through the holiday.
