Vibrant and enthusiastic kickoff at offices and projects

On the morning of February 3, 2025, Deo Ca Group hosted a New Year kickoff ceremony at all its offices and projects nationwide.

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deo Ca Group, led the event. It also included participation from Advisory Council members, the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, and employees of the Group.

An overview of the Event at three main locations: the Hanoi Office, the Ho Chi Minh City Office, and the Da Nang Office.

The program began with the Chairman of the Board of Directors highlighting the Group’s significant achievements over the past year. He remarked: “The success of Deo Ca Group throughout our journey is due to the invaluable contributions of the Advisory Council, the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, and the dedication, professionalism, and close coordination of all employees, departments, and units. Recently, we completed an important task during the Lunar New Year period - the groundbreaking of the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh Expressway. Additionally, we welcomed the government delegation for an inspection of major projects, including the Dong Dang – Tra Linh and Huu Nghi – Chi Lang routes. However, we must remain prepared for the challenges ahead. In particular, the leadership team, and specifically the Board of Directors, must focus on strategic planning for 2025 and the upcoming period.”

At the event, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang expressed his sincere gratitude to the Advisory Council for its vital role in providing independent consultation and critical reviews of all the Group’s activities. He also extended his appreciation to the Board of Directors, whose members have been steadfast partners in formulating and implementing strategies, as well as supporting and advising the Executive Board in carrying out its responsibilities.

The Chairman not only highlighted the Group’s achievements but also candidly pointed out existing limitations. He urged individuals and departments to reflect on these issues and make improvements in 2025. Additionally, he emphasized that the leadership team must enhance their management and operational capabilities. Mr. Ho Minh Hoang affirmed that the Group’s sustainable development relies not only on past successes but also on the ability to learn from experiences, objectively assess team performance, and adjust strategies and operational plans flexibly in response to evolving circumstances.

The "Three Principles of Determination" philosophy

"We must fully understand the role each of us plays in fulfilling our responsibilities, placing the organization’s interests above all else, and serving the organization for the common goal of national development. Let us always regard Deo Ca as our shared home and take responsibility for it. He extended his wishes for a prosperous and peaceful New Year to all members of Deo Ca Group and their families. The people of Deo Ca will stand alongside the nation as we enter a new era, committed to completing unfinished tasks and prepared to embrace new missions.

On behalf of the Group’s senior advisors, the Chairman of the Advisory Council, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung, shared: "People are the greatest asset of any enterprise." He praised the Group’s passionate work ethic, particularly during the Lunar New Year period, and emphasized that Deo Ca’s commitment to “non-stop work” has reinforced its leading position in the infrastructure industry. This reflects the Party and State’s expectations and trust in the role of enterprise in the nation’s development.

“The Advisory Board is not just a group of observers but also plays a crucial role in supporting the leadership team with strategic direction and providing constructive feedback to ensure the Group’s sustainable development. We will continue to enhance our role," emphasized Mr. Ho Nghia Dung. He also extended his New Year wishes to all employees: “Tan nien, tan phuc, tan tri ky / Van loc, van tai, van cong danh” (New Year, new blessings, new friendships / Abundant fortune, wealth, and career success).

Advisor Tran Chung, the Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council, affirmed the importance of innovative thinking: "I wish Deo Ca continues to uphold its focus on people as the center of organizational development, embracing the mindset of 'Think Differently, Create Distinctively' to achieve new successes, overcome significant challenges, and continue to expand its horizons."

He emphasized that the Group's frequent appearances in the media recently have showcased its capabilities, experience, and reputation through its contributions to the country. These successes are supported by the Group's effective governance model, which features a young leadership team that efficiently manages a substantial workload. The strategic approach to utilizing personnel ensures that the right individuals are placed in the right roles. After 40 years of overcoming challenges, Deo Ca has solidified its position in the transportation infrastructure sector and is poised to enter a new era alongside the nation.

In alignment with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Advisor Ho Quang Loi also emphasized that Deo Ca Group achieved significant milestones in 2024, receiving recognition from state leadership, particularly high praise from the General Secretary and the Prime Minister. Rather than "resting on its laurels," Deo Ca Group remains focused on addressing internal challenges, identifying obstacles, and acknowledging areas that require further improvement. He stated that this commitment is the foundation for the Group's continued advancement, growth, and sustainable development.

“A thorough internal evaluation that identifies and resolves issues is the true path for the Group's growth and strength,” he affirmed.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Giang, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, expressed pride in the Group's achievements over the past year. He noted that key projects are now ready to proceed, which promises to make significant contributions to the Group’s growth in 2025 and beyond. “Transparency and strict financial management will enable the Group to continue growing strongly in the future,” said Mr. Nguyen Minh Giang.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Phan Van Thang, highlighted that the Group's business performance over the past year was 1.5 times higher than in 2023, and the workload for 2025 is expected to double compared to previous years. With such a massive workload, Mr. Phan Van Thang encourages all employees to clearly define their objectives, understand the challenges ahead, and strive for results while maintaining effectiveness. The Board of Directors will strengthen interactions with employees to identify, guide, and nurture potential elements within the Group.

CEO Ngo Truong Nam stated: "In 2025, the range of projects managed by the Group will continue to expand, which will require greater effort and determination from all employees. Deo Ca Group not only aims for large-scale objectives but also focuses on building a united, professional, and innovative team. We will always enhance training and development programs to improve our quality of resources, ensuring that the Group remains steady in the face of new challenges."

Earlier this morning, at Deo Ca's construction sites across the three regions of North, Central, and South Vietnam, the Group mobilized its entire workforce and equipment. This effort created a vibrant atmosphere at the sites as the new spring season begins.

Previously, at several key projects of the Group, including Dong Dang – Tra Linh, Huu Nghi – Chi Lang, Quang Ngai – Hoai Nhon, and Ring Road 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, construction activities were maintained during the Tet holiday to accelerate the progress of several critical tasks.
