One month after the commencement, the construction of the Medical Examination and Treatment Department of Quan Ba District General Hospital (Ha Giang province), gifted to the locality by General Secretary Tô Lâm, is being actively carried out by DEOCA Group around the clock to meet the 120-day completion schedule.
The construction of the Medical Examination and Treatment Department of Quan Ba District General Hospital in Ha Giang province includes a four-story building with a total area of over 2,000 square meters. The project also involves the installation of essential medical equipment, the construction of gates, internal roads, front fences, and landscaping within the hospital premises. The total investment for the project is 1.17 million USD.

This is a healthcare infrastructure project presented by General Secretary To Lam to the Party Committee, local authorities, and people of Quan Ba district during his visit to Ha Giang province in the early days of the Year of the Snake. DEOCA Group has been assigned the task of implementing this project. During his visit, General Secretary To Lam emphasized, "We sincerely hope that the district will have a healthcare center that meets the needs of the local people. This facility will be equipped with modern medical equipment, ensuring high-quality healthcare services for the people".
Currently, the project is in the phase of foundation construction, building the main structure of the building, completing columns, beams, floors, elevator shafts, reinforcing steel, and preparing for the concrete pouring stage.
The frequent rainy and cold weather has posed significant challenges to the construction process. However, the contractor has taken advantage of clear weather conditions, mobilized maximum manpower to accelerate progress, ensuring quality and schedule adherence. At present, DEOCA Group has been actively advancing construction efforts, with dozens of workers, five on-site engineers, and various machinery and equipment in operation.
According to the plan, the Medical Examination and Treatment Department of Quan Ba District General Hospital is scheduled for completion and handover in Q2/2025. Once operational, the facility will not only enhance the region’s healthcare infrastructure but also improve the quality of medical examination, treatment, and healthcare services for local residents.

Multiple worker teams are actively engaged in rebar tying, structural inspections, removal of excess formwork, and reinforcement of formwork in preparation for the upcoming concrete pouring phase.
The construction site is illuminated at night, with groups of workers diligently focused on their tasks, determined to complete the project within the committed 120-day timeline.
Wall plastering, tiling, and auxiliary works are expected to be completed by April 6, 2025, with the entire project scheduled for completion in Q2/2025.
Quan Ba District General Hospital is a grade II hospital, with buildings that have been in use since 1999, 2001. Initially, the hospital had 100 beds, which were expanded to 130 in 2015, but the current number has reached 180 beds. Over the years, some facilities have deteriorated, with inconsistent functionality that no longer meets the requirements for treating patients from Quan Ba and surrounding districts. The construction of the Medical Examination and Treatment Department of Quan Ba District General Hospital, a gift from the General Secretary, holds significant importance and provides local residents with improved access to quality healthcare services. |
