According to Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company, after more than 50 days of operating free on Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway (from April 30, 2022), the operation management unit has served more than 1,113,000 vehicles, an average of 21,400 vehicles/day and night; timely settlement of 38 traffic collisions; rescue 297 cases of vehicle breakdown, engine failure, tire explosion, and out of fuel; answer nearly 800 calls via the hotline number.

Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company said that in order to evaluate the criteria of the toll collection equipment system and improve the service skills of employees towards providing better and safer services for customers, the company will deploy toll collection without collecting money on this expressway.
Accordingly, the time to start collecting trial fees is from 14:00 on June 23, 2022 to 14:00 on June 30, 2022. The toll stations are arranged as follows:
Than Cuu Nghia Toll Station (km51+940) consists of 6 toll lanes (3 lanes in each direction) and is equipped with non-stop automatic toll collection system for all 6 lanes. At the moment, there are 4 lanes of automatic and 1 lane is in each direction is manual fee collecting.
Cai Lay toll station located at the road connecting the expressway and National Road 1A has 4 toll lanes (2 lanes in each direction) equipped with non-stop automatic toll collection system for all 4 lanes. Currently, there are 2 lanes for non-stop toll collection and 2 lane for mixed toll collection.
Cai Be toll station located at the road connecting the expressway and National Road 1A has 4 toll lanes (2 lanes in each direction) equipped with non-stop automatic toll collection system for all 4 lanes. Currently, there are 2 lanes for non-stop toll collection and 2 lane for mixed toll collection.
An Thai Trung toll station located at the entry and exit branches with 6 toll lanes (3 lanes in each direction) is operated by a non-stop automatic toll collection system for all 6 lanes. Currently, there are 2 lanes for non-stop toll collection and 1 mixed toll lane for each direction.
During the trial period of toll collection operation, for vehicles with etags and the accounts eligible for payment will enter all toll lanes, the recognition system and the barier will automatically open for the vehicles to pass through. The customer's account will not be deducted. In case the card on the vehicle does not connect with the system at the station, the tollgate staff will issue an IC card (IC card).
For vehicles that have not yet registed ETC or whose accounts are not eligible for payment will enter the mixed toll lane, the customer presses the button to receive IC card from the input automatic card issuer and returns the card to the toll collector at output. Toll collectors will carry out the check-out process but will not collect money from customers.
Vehicle owners who have not yet registed ETC and sticked etags, if they need to, the service provider will guided right at the toll booth. Vehicles traveling through Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway toll stations during the above period should pay attention to observe and slow down to stop, ensure a safe distance between vehicles, and go in the right toll lane.
