Hundreds of workers on Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway construction site enthusiastically worked despite hot weather or sudden thunderstorms.

Representative of Deo Ca Group said that during the holiday of April 30 - May 1 of this year, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao construction site was still bustling with machine sounds. Hundreds of officials, engineers and workers have volunteered to work through the holidays with the spirit of determination to bring the project ahead of schedule by 2 months as committed to the Prime Minister.

Currently, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway has implemented 45 construction teams in 16 main construction and installation packages. Total construction and installation value up to now has reached more than 11% of the contract value, exceeding the set plan.

These days, on the project site, it is burning hot, the temperature is often around 35 degrees Celsius but engineers and workers are still hard at work.

On the route, there is Nui Vung tunnel with 2.2km long, 3 lanes, 14m wide, which is the fourth largest road tunnel in the country after Hai Van tunnel, Deo Ca tunnel and Cu Mong tunnel.

In the Nui Vung tunnel category, there are more than 300 workers and technicians who are executing the parallel construction of two tunnels, the total lenght of tunnels dug up to now is about 800 meters.

In addition to tunnels and main roads, the route also has 26 bridges, 3 interchanges, 9 direct overpasses, 45 underground tunnels, and 257 horizontal culverts.

Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway has a total investment of 8,925 billion VND, with a length of about 78.5km passing through 3 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, Deo Ca Group led the investor consortium. This is the first of three PPP projects of the East North-South to mobilize sufficient capital for implementation. On the entire route of the project, nearly 100 cameras are installed to monitor the construction process and control the security and order situation.

In addition to ensuring the progress and quality of the work, Deo Ca Group also cares about the life condition of the staff working at the site. Although the office is located far from the center and it is difficult to transport equipment, but the accommodation is still spaciously built, fully equipped with air-conditioners, televisions, washing machines...

Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024, contributing to the gradual formation of the North-South expressway in the East, improving the capacity of goods transportation and trade in the region. Mr. Ho Dinh Chung - General Director of Deo Ca Group said that in addition to Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway, in other projects such as Thung Thi tunnel (contract package under Mai Son - National road 45 project) and Truong Vinh tunnel (belonging to Nghi Son - Dien Chau expressway project), Cua Luc 3 bridge (in Quang Ninh province) that Deo Ca Group led the contractor consortium, all organized construction without holidays.
