The contractors are working hard all day and night to keep up the connection plan of Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway before Tan Suu Lunar New Year.

The intersection between the end of HCM City - Trung Luong expressway and the beginning of Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway. On this Tet, cars can go from Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway through Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway to go to National Road 30, reduce the traffic load for National Road 1.

These days, contractors constructing on Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project are mobilizing equipment and manpower to work all day and night.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dong, General Director of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company, said that after more than 1 year of striving, up to now, the whole project has reached nearly 68% of the volume.

The main route of the key expressway to the West is basically shaped. From now to the end of November, the contractors focus on completing the bridge system. As for the road section, 10/51km of the main route will be paved C19 asphalt concrete. The remaining part will be paved with crushed aggregate on the loaded ground to open for traffic. The two sides of the road will be put traffic cones and lane dividing lines, fully arranged traffic signs ...

According to the traffic regulation plan, the Project Management Board will arrange one person for every 1km to regulate traffic.

“All the project's officers, engineers and workers are working around the clock to ensure the route connection plan by the end of 2020, ready to share a part of traffic load for National Road 1, serving people on the occasion Lunar New Year”, Mr. Dong said.

Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project has a total length of 51.1km (Total investment: 12,500 billion VND). The starting point is at Than Cuu Nghia intersection (connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway), the ending point intersects with National Road 30 at An Thai Trung intersection (Cai Be district, Tien Giang).
