That was spoken by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc during his supervising trip at Deo Ca road tunnel.
In 18th January afternoon, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, together with Government’s delegation, has visited Deo Ca road tunnel to supervise the project. After listening to Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman cum General Director of Deo Ca Investment Joint Stock Company (the investor), present on the construction and operation of the road tunnel passing Ca pass (Deo Ca), Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc congratulated and called this work the pride of Vietnamese people.
“This is a great effort of Deo Ca Investment Joint Stock Company, the supervising and constructing units, all technical staffs, and managers with support from the Ministry of Transport, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa province to have an excellent result. This is a work of which the quality, progress, safety and aesthetics are at the top. It was the Vietnamese who did that. It is truly the pride of all of us. Very praiseworthy” – the Prime Minister said.
The Deo Ca road tunnel is located between Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces with a total length of nearly 13,2km. Of which, the Deo Ca tunnel is more than 4,1km long, Co Ma tunnel is 500m long. The project includes two parallel tunnels, each has 2 lanes ensuring speed of 80km/h. The project has a total invested capital of nearly 12.000 billion and is officially put into operation in August 2017.
In the afternoon of the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also visited and handed gifts to the Vietnam heroic mother Ngo Thi Muoi and local people in Long Thuy village, An Phu, Tuy Hoa City (Phu Yen), visited An Phu breakwater – of which many segments were broken in the storm no.12 in 2017. Thousands of people have come to the coast area to welcome the Prime Minister.
After asking many people about damages in the storm no.12, the Prime Minister shared the loss of local people. “I know that people in Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa were badly damaged in the storm no.12. I have directed to put effort in overcoming to stabilize the life of all affected people. Now although life is still difficult but temporarily settle down. This is also a great effort of the local authorities” – said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also asked the local authorities to take good care of local people on Tet holidays. “The local authorities must do the best for the people, not leaving anyone hungry or lack of meals during Tet” – the Prime Minister directed.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc wishes the local people to unite, start production and reach to the sea in the beginning of the new year keeping the thought of getting rich from the sea.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also handed 100 gifts to 100 families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services in the war and the poor to enjoy their Tet holidays.
