It’s only about 60 days away that Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project will be available. To mark that important moment, the investor has installed a countdown board counting the remaining days to the route connection.

The countdown board is set up at the beginning of the route intersecting with Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway at Than Cuu Nghia intersection, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province.

With the public countdown board of Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project, the investor clearly expressed their determination to connect the route by the end of 2020 and completed and officially put into use on April 30, 2021 as directed by Prime Minister and to meet the expectations of 20 million people in the Mekong Delta.

According to Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT Joint Stock Company (Project Enterprise), along with the route connection, vehicles with less than 16 seats are allowed to temporarily circulate on the route on new year 2021. That will help reduce traffic pressure and avoid congestion on National Road 1 which happens every year.

Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project is invested in BOT form and Tien Giang People's Committee is authorized State agency of the project. The whole route has 51.1km long, located entirely in Tien Giang province, going through muddy land, soft ground so the loading work takes a lot of time. The project's starting point at Than Cuu Nghia intersection, connecting with Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway, the endpoint of the project intersects with National Road 30 at An Thai Trung intersection, at the beginning of My Thuan Bridge.
