(Justice Newspaper) - That is the message, the motto of Deo Ca Group in 2020 shared by Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of Deo Ca Group.

Over the past years, this leading Group of infrastructure construction in Vietnam has brought convenience to people all over the country by the works with high quality and real value.

Reporter: Could you please tell us the remarkable achievements of Deo Ca Group in the past year?

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang: Looking back to 2019, Deo Ca Group has accomplished many important tasks, in line with the orientation set by the Board of Management in 2018. Typically: At the beginning of 2019, we opened to traffic and put into use Cu Mong tunnel connecting Binh Dinh - Phu Yen provinces. By the beginning of September 2019, Hai Van 2 tunnel will continue to be successfully opened. Next, complete Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway route, prepare to put into operation, serving the people during the Lunar New Year 2020 after 2 months of absolutely safe trial operation.

Particularly, Deo Ca Group has participated in “regenerating” Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project after more than 10 years of immobility. With the role of project manager, Deo Ca has worked with many agencies such as: State Audit Office, Tax Office, competent State Agency (formerly the Ministry of Transport, now is Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee) for approval of the adjustment of entire project. This is an important premise to bring joy and excitement to more than 20 million people in the Mekong Delta, contractors and even investors.

It can be said that the regeneration of TL-MT Expressway project is thanks to the drastic guidance of the Government and the timely attention of the Parliament to support VND 2,186 billion from the State budget, helping the project continue to be accelerated.

The attention of the Government and the Parliament is also the foundation for 4 banks (Vietinbank, BIDV, Agribank and VIPbank) to decide on syndication, signing credit financing contracts for the project on December 16, 2019. This is an important basis for implementing the plan to connect the route in 2020 and operate in 2021 on time as Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc promised to the people of Mekong Delta.

Besides untangling and putting into operation key national projects, 2019 is also the year marking the remarkable development of the Group in human resources when we are in collaboration with the National Economics University implemented an MBA training program to improve the level for 52 strategic personnel. At the same time, consolidating and perfecting the Mmanagement system, promoting the effective capacity of many departments, especially the role of the Group's advisory board.

Reporter: What does the message “Speed makes faith, Open-mind makes strength” means for the key strategies and tasks of the Group in 2020, sir?

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang: In 2020, we will focus and strengthen the responsibility and strength of the Group to complete early and best the work that has been and will be implemented. The first is to put into operation the Hai Van 2 Tunnel and Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway.

Particularly, bringing Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project to the destination by the end of 2020 as committed is considered as the most important task of this year. “Speed makes faith” is the message we will thoroughly grasp for all employees seriously implemented. Why must “speed up”? Because, the time to complete the task of TL-MT Expressway is only 16 months left.

The BOT credit contracts for Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway of the banks will be a lever to help the project reach the destination on schedule by the end of 2020.

The “faith” is very essential to speedy implement the project. We have now received trust from many sides such as: people, Government, competent State agencies and other relevant agencies ... By specific plans and actions, with the spirit of responsibility and the optimal construction solutions to speed up the process and above all to ensure the quality of the project, we believe that we will achieve the speedy construction progress at TL-MT Expressway project.

“Speed” and quality will help us continue to reeceive trust and vice versa, the “faith” will be the motivation to help us carry out the task in the fastest way.

Besides, the message “open-mind makes strength” is also a requirement for us to fulfill. In the current economic situation, an open-mind willing to listen to the opinions of the people and relevant agencies, and to provide transparent information about investment projects has become a trend as the request of the Party, Government and people. Therefore, open-mind is a requirement in order to increase the brand value, develop reputation, create real value products which is the real strength of the Group.

Reporter: Could you share the thoughts of the old year and the expectations for the new year 2020?

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang: Difficulties are what businesses are always facing, to avoid difficulties there is no other way but to go through it. Although it’s hard but I feel happy and proud when from difficulties that Deo Ca people have been created.

I hope that, in this new year 2020, let's find a way for the transport infrastructure industry instead of finding escape or turn away from this tough task. The enterprises involved in investment and construction of transport infrastructure must prove their capacity with specific products with real value.

Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway project will be speeded up in 2020

In order to facilitate businesses to do that, I hope that the Government will continue focusing on the constructive role for the purpose of socio-economic development, ensure enterprises feel assured to join hands in building and developing the country.

Reporter: It is known that, besides the strategic skills, smoothly running dozens of key projects spread evenly across the three regions of the country, ensuring a good life for thousands of employees, you also composed many poetries and songs carries the breath of daily life but has deep meaning. Can you tell me what is the inspiration for you to compose?

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang: To me, composing poets, songs is also a tool to run the work. I have a bit of gifted and knowledgeable about music since I was in school, so sometimes faced with stressful work, I took poetry and music as a joy and inspiration to motivate myself.

In addition, when teaching at management class at MBA courses, I realized that poetry and music are a bridge to help me convey my feelings, ideas, and through this way every people most sympathetic and sharing. Since then, I have conveyed many messages to the staff and people through songs.

Typically: Through the song "Legend of a road", I want to share with everyone the story about the journey to fulfill my ambition. Or the song "Quietly" is a tribute to the advisors, the rear supporting us in the development route.

Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway is ready to serve people right on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2020.

The song that I like and often put in the staff training program is “The daily life math”, because the song contains many philosophies that every entrepreneur can instill and sympathize. That is, plus to create trust, multiply to create differences, divide to create balance and subtract to create sustainability.

And most recently, before the signing ceremony of Trung Luong - My Thuan BOT credit financing contract, in the difficult situation of solving the financial difficulties for the project, with a genuine emotional circuit I have composed the song “Aspiration of Cuu Long river”. I am very happy that this song has received warm sympathy and applause from everyone at the signing ceremony.

Reporter: On the eve of the new year, do you have anything to send to the leaders, partners, employees of the Group and everyone?

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang: 2020 will continue to be a year of difficulties and challenges, let us turn those difficulties into motivation to continue to realize our aspirations, dreams, and create real value for society and people.
