Deo Ca Group kick off construction at package XL01 of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong expressway project on the morning of February 15, 2024 with 327 machines and equipment ready for action after the Lunar New Year.

According to the report of the Executive Board of Package XL01 of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong Expressway project, to date, the contractor consortium led by Deo Ca Group has deployed 45 construction tasks. The total output of the completed contract package is 1,103/4,303 billion VND, reaching 26% of the contract value, exceeding 8.2% of the plan..
Particularly for the scope of work constructed by Deo Ca, Deo Ca has currently mobilized 395 personnel and 110 motorbikes and equipment, deploying 19 construction sites. Completed output is 381/1,650 billion VND, reaching 23%. At Tuy An tunnel, the left and right tunnel pipes have so far reached 300m and 321m respectively, exceeding the set plan.
Additional vehicles, machines, and equipment were mobilized to speed up construction progress after Tett.
Contractors will start working early on February 15 with 684 personnel and 327 pieces of machinery. Their aim is to finish construction ahead of schedule, specifically breaking through the Tuy An tunnel by November 2024, a crucial part of the project. The overall project completion target is December 2025.

“The contractor consortium is prepared to accelerate construction post-Tet holiday. We anticipate the locality to deliver the cleared site to the construction contractor by February 28, 2024”, added Deputy Director of the Contract Management Board.
Package XL01 is a 24km component of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong section in the Eastern North-South Expressway phase 2. It's part of the 48km total project length with a bidding value of 4,303 billion VND. This phase involves a 4-lane scale and roadbed width of 17m. On the route, aside from the road and the over 1km-long Tuy An tunnel, there are 16 bridges - 11 on the main route and 5 on the horizontal routes and intersections. XL01 is carried out by a contractor consortium led by Deo Ca Group, responsible for 43% of the package's implementation volume.
