According to the Contract Management Board report, after nearly 5 months of implementation, the contractor has organized 9/19 construction tasks, including 3 road construction tasks, 4 bridge construction tasks, and 2 tunnel construction tasks with 242 personnel and 124 machinery and equipment. The realized output to date has reached about 43/3,083 billion, reaching 1.38%, exceeding the set plan. The contractor consortium has mobilized personnel, motorbikes, and equipment, installed electrical systems, and is ready to construct locations with access roads.
Regarding site clearance, the locality has handed over 9.7km/11km of land, reaching 89%. However, a significant challenge has emerged at the construction site at the east gate of the Phuong Hoang Tunnel, where the entire forest area is obstructed, making it impossible for the contractor to access it. This obstacle is a considerable difficulty, affecting the tunnel drilling construction plan simultaneously from both tunnel entrance directions.
“The contractor is actively coordinating with the Investor in mobilizing people and local authorities to confirm compensation to have a landfill for the construction contractor. The Investor is also actively following the locality in converting forest use purposes to hand over the site to the contractor soon” - Mr. Ngo Huu Khoa shared.

In addition to the 5.6km main route, the 1.7km long Phuong Hoang Tunnel has 10 bridges. The project is invested by Project Management Board 6 under the Ministry of Transport. The package XL01 is implemented by a consortium of contractors led by DEOCA Group.
