On June 21, 2024, Quang Ngai Provincial Police and the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Project Management Board held a conference to review 1 year of coordinating security and order at the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway project. The conference included representatives from Quang Ngai Provincial Police, Project Management Board 2, the contractor consortium, and other related units.

At the conference, a representative of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police reported on 1 year of implementing the coordination regulations between the Quang Ngai Provincial Police, Project Management Board 2, and Deo Ca Group.
Over the past year, implementing the coordination regulations has yielded encouraging results. The units have developed plans and coordinated according to assigned tasks to prevent, combat, and handle security violations, ensuring stability and safety during the project.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy, Deputy General Director of Deo Ca Group, stated that after signing the coordination regulations, they closely worked with the Project Management Board, construction units, and police forces in Quang Ngai. Additionally, the project established an internal security force, installed 62 security cameras, and used patrol vehicles to ensure security during construction.
"We hope the Provincial Police will continue to support in resolving issues related to construction sites and material mines, mobilize people to limit complaints and obstructions, and strengthen coordination with relevant units to ensure security and safety, ensuring the project's timely completion", said Mr. Huy.

The 88km-long Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project is large, involving many workers, machinery, and materials across multiple districts and towns. Despite this, the project remains stable due to proactive coordination and timely incident handling, preventing unexpected issues.
However, some limitations have arisen, such as not closely assessing security developments, delays by some contractors in managing explosives, support tools, and fire prevention, and challenges in managing the fluctuating number of workers…
The Quang Ngai Provincial Police have coordinated with other units to educate contractors and workers, raising awareness and responsibility in protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Colonel Vo Van Duong, Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Police, emphasized the importance of security and order for project stability. He urged officers, soldiers, employees, and workers to understand the significance of coordination to enhance responsibility in information exchange and issue handling.
In the coming time, the units will continue to focus on directing the good implementation of the coordination regulations, supplementing contents and measures suitable to practical requirements to improve implementation efficiency.
