On November 19, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deo Ca Group, conducted an on-site inspection of the construction organization in package XL01 of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong Expressway Project.
According to the report from the Project Management Board, the consortium led by Deo Ca Group is currently the main contractor. The overall completion rate of the package stands at 14.2%, meeting the schedule and ensuring the set plan.
Regarding the scope of work carried out by Deo Ca Group, the progress achieved accounts for 12% of the projected volume until 2023. For the Tuy An tunnel, the left tunnel has reached a length of 215m, while the right tunnel has reached 62m.

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang acknowledges and commends the efforts of the Project Management Board, engineers, and workers in organizing construction activities during the rainy season in this package. At the same time, he requests the Project Management Board to hold a comprehensive meeting to examine existing issues, including the sudden increase in material prices. Based on that, they should work with the Management Board of Project 7 to come up with solutions and promptly report to the Ministry of Transport if necessary. In addition, the Chairman of the Group reminds the Project Management Board about personnel matters and urges coordination with the supervision consultants throughout the implementation process.
During this visit, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang pays attention to ensuring labor safety for the construction workforce, especially under the current rainy weather conditions.
Despite Phu Yen currently experiencing the peak of the rainy season, construction activities on the site have been continuously carried out round-the-clock. However, certain outdoor operations, such as earthwork for road foundation, may be temporarily suspended due to the unavailability of suitable soil caused by inclement weather. Instead, the Project Management Board has prioritized focusing on the interior construction of the two tunnels. Nevertheless, some outdoor tasks, such as bored pile construction for bridges and box culvert installation along the route, are still being executed during this phase.
Due to the peak of the rainy season, construction activities are primarily focused inside the Tuy An tunnel.
