On the morning of January 15, 2025, the People’s Committee of Dan Phuong District (Hanoi) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Tay Thang Long Road construction project (from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal). The project is executed by DEOCA GROUP as the construction contractor.
The Tay Thang Long Road construction project (from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal) was approved for investment under Resolution No. 30/NQ-HDND on December 8, 2021. The road has a total length of 5.8 km, with a cross-section width of: from Ring Road 3.5 to Ring Road 4: 60.5 meters; from Ring Road 4 to Dan Hoai Canal: 40 meters
The total project investment exceeds 1.298 trillion VND.
The ceremony overview
In December 2024, the People’s Committee of Dan Phuong District approved the bidding results, selecting the construction contractor as the joint venture of DEOCA Construction JSC and DEOCA GROUP. The supervision unit is the joint venture of Thang Long Construction Quality Supervision JSC and Pacie Investment & Construction JSC.
On December 25, 2024, the District Construction Investment Project Management Board signed a contract with the joint venture of DEOCA GROUP JSC, with a project duration of 450 days from the signing date.
After extensive efforts in investment preparation and land clearance, the project has now met the necessary conditions for groundbreaking.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dan Phuong District, stated:"The investment in constructing Tay Thang Long Road from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal is a concrete step in realizing the policy of the Hanoi People’s Council, aimed at completing the transportation infrastructure in the western area according to the master plan. This will be a vital arterial road connecting West Lake through Dan Phuong District to neighboring districts such as Phuc Tho, Son Tay, and Ba Vi, creating a comprehensive inter-regional transport network.”

Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the construction unit was directed to mobilize personnel, machinery, and equipment to begin work, ensuring the project is completed on schedule and quickly brings investment efficiency.
The Tay Thang Long Road project (from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal) is expected to enhance the transportation infrastructure of Dan Phuong District and the surrounding region, integrating with existing roads to boost trade and improve local livelihoods. Once completed, the road will significantly contribute to meeting urban infrastructure upgrade criteria, facilitating Dan Phuong District’s transformation into a future urban district.
