On September 21, 2025, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Operation Management Enterprise successfully and promptly handled a truck fire on the route, ensuring safety for people and vehicles.

Information from the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Operation Management Enterprise said that at 9:50 a.m. on September 21, through the surveillance camera of the intelligent traffic system (ITS), the operation management team discovered smoke rising from the back of the truck with license plate 29H - 059.48, the driver was driving the vehicle into the emergency stop strip at Km107, direction from Cam Lam to Vinh Hao.

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Team of the Enterprise operates and deploys fire fighting.

An alarm was immediately raised and the emergency response procedure was activated, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of the enterprise quickly approached and after more than 10 minutes were present at the scene, coordinated with the Traffic Police Department C08 to regulate traffic, blocked a lane towards Cam Lam and established a safe area to deploy fire fighting.

By 10:18, the fire was basically under control, there were no human casualties, goods were partially affected, the vehicle body and container were preserved. Traffic on the route returned to normal.

Mr. Dao Van Thuy - Director of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Operation Management Enterprise said that when the incident happened, fire trucks of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Force 114 were also mobilized to support but had not yet arrived at the scene.

“With the company's specialized fire fighting equipment and the experience and professional skills that are regularly trained and improved through professional competitions, training sessions with specific professional situations in operation, rescue, fire prevention and fighting, maintenance, etc., the team on duty quickly approached the scene, proactively deployed effective fire fighting plans, minimizing property damage to the vehicle owner,” Mr. Thuy shared.

Mr. Phan Van Uu - the driver who had the accident said that when he discovered smoke coming from the back of the truck, he was extremely worried because the truck was carrying valuable medical goods. However, thanks to the fire prevention and fighting force of the Expressway Management and Operation Enterprise quickly arriving to support, the fire was controlled in time, and the goods in the truck were moved out to minimize damage.
