On March 10, in Tuyen Quang, Mr. Hau A Lenh – Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, visited and inspected the progress of the urgent public investment project: construction of the Son Vi inter-level boarding School for primary and lower secondary education.

With a total investment of over VND 211 billion, the project covers an area of 3.6 hectares, with a total construction floor area of more than 22,000 m². It includes 10 three-story buildings (classrooms, dormitories, and administration building), three one-story buildings (kitchen, multi-purpose hall, and outdoor canopy), along with several auxiliary facilities. The project is being implemented by a consortium led by Deoca Group, aiming to provide a comprehensive learning and development environment for children in the border areas of Tuyen Quang Province.

According to the plan, the project is scheduled for completion by August 30, 2026, in time to serve students of Son Vi Commune for the new academic year.

Reporting to the delegation, the contractor consortium stated that personnel and machinery are being mobilized to work continuously. Due to the terrain - largely composed of hard rock - construction requires blasting methods to clear the site.

All necessary permits have been obtained, and blasting operations have commenced at a frequency of twice per day. To date, more than 60,000 m³ of rock has been excavated, equivalent to nearly 90% of the total volume, while earthwork and material transport have reached approximately 40,000 m³.

For the main structures, two three-story classroom blocks for primary students have completed foundation concrete works. Other components are being implemented simultaneously, focusing on excavation, ground leveling, and preparation for structural construction. The entire structural framework and surrounding landscaping are expected to be completed by the end of June.

According to the construction team, the project site is located in a remote area far from the center, making material transportation challenging. In addition, the construction power supply has not yet been connected to a transformer station, and there is a shortage of water sources for the site.

After reviewing the progress report, Mr. Hau A Lenh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the participating units, especially Deoca Group, in implementing the project under particularly challenging conditions.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the contractor to continue mobilizing manpower and equipment, take advantage of favorable weather conditions to accelerate progress, ensure timely completion, and soon put the project into operation for the new school year.

Mr. Hau A Lenh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and responsibility of the participating units, especially Deoca Group.

At the same time, local Party committees and authorities in Son Vi Commune were urged to closely coordinate with the investor, contractors, and supervision units, maintaining regular on-site engagement. He emphasized that progress must not come at the expense of quality, and that full compliance with labor safety and environmental protection standards must be ensured throughout construction.

Local authorities were also asked to proactively coordinate with relevant units to promptly resolve difficulties related to site clearance, infrastructure, and construction conditions, creating the most favorable environment for project implementation.

On this occasion, Mr. Hau A Lenh also visited and encouraged engineers and workers at the construction site, recognizing their dedication under challenging terrain and weather conditions.

Mr. Hau A Lenh presents gifts to staff and workers at the project site.

He expressed confidence that, with strong determination and close coordination among all parties, the new school in Son Vi will soon be completed, providing a modern, clean, and well-equipped learning environment - a “second home” for students in this border area.

Once completed and put into operation, the project will not only meet the learning and living needs of local students but also create opportunities for sustainable educational development in the mountainous region of Son Vi.
