Heading toward its 40th anniversary, DEOCA Group has launched an exciting series of sports activities. The events are spreading the workout spirit, boosting team bonding, and firing up energy across the entire DEOCA system.
On July 18, 2025, the Pickleball Finals officially kicked off at the court of the DEOCA Tunnel Operation Center. The event gathered 12 top-tier teams from the North, Central, and South regions, including 6 men's doubles and 6 mixed doubles. These top athletes, selected from regional qualifiers, competed in an enthusiastic, disciplined, and united atmosphere. Split into two separate groups, the teams delivered highly dramatic and high-quality matches.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dong - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors - emphasized that sports are a practical way to improve health, especially for DEOCA people who work hard on construction sites day in and day out.

“Stay healthy to build and protect the Fatherland. Time spent on practice and exercise is the perfect way to recharge, maintain physical strength, and keep up the mental toughness and stamina for the long road ahead,” Vice Chairman Nguyen Tan Dong said.
After the opening ceremony, the matches took place under enthusiastic cheering from staff and fans. The athletes' determination, combined with great sportsmanship, turned the event into a true festival, celebrating the DEOCA people’s spirit of “play hard, work effectively”.

Although pickleball is a relatively new sport, it has quickly become the "glue" bonding DEOCA people from all over the country, helping them practice together, spread positive energy, and nurture a sustainable corporate culture.
Following the tournament, later that afternoon, the U50 Pickleball tournament received special attention. It featured Chairman of the Board of Directors Ho Minh Hoang, alongside advisors, Group leaders, and close partners. More than just a sports activity, this was a fantastic opportunity for intergenerational exchange, showing the tight bond between the founders who laid the bricks and the next generations—and especially our valued partners—who are growing the Group. The plays on the U50 court showed calm experience but were no less fierce, proving that sportsmanship and the desire to contribute have no age limit.

On the morning of July 18, the golf tournament titled "The Journey of Overcoming Hardships - The Era of Advancement" took place at the FLC Quy Nhon golf course (Gia Lai). Far from being a simple sporting event, the tournament holds symbolic meaning for the resilient, obstacle-overcoming spirit and the big ambitions of DEOCA people and their close friends.
Nearly 60 golfers, including members of the Advisory Council, the Board of Directors of DEOCA Group, and guests and partners, joined in, creating an exciting, joyful, and fair competitive atmosphere. Besides the Best Gross award, the Organizing Committee also handed out trophies for First, Second, and Third places, as well as novelty prizes like Nearest to the Pin and Longest Drive, along with many valuable gifts such as golf bags, clubs, and handbags.
