On February 8, 2025, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of DEOCA GROUP, visited the construction site of Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project to inspect progress and personally encourage the engineers, workers, and staff working on-site.
During the visit, the Chairman reviewed the ongoing construction progress and held discussions with the project management board. Currently, all 50 construction teams are in operation, with the total completed output reaching approximately VND 7.3 trillion, equivalent to 55% of the project's total volume.
Chairman presents gifts to motivate employees
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang personally met and encouraged the workers, handing out lucky money (li xi) for the new year. He acknowledged the workforce's dedication and their strong work ethic, especially as many continued working throughout the Lunar New Year holiday.
Several workers shared their long-standing commitment to the project, particularly those directly involved in on-site construction. Recognizing their contributions, the Chairman instructed the project management board to establish a benefits policy to reward and honor employees who have been with the company for five years or more. This initiative serves not only as a morale booster but also as a testament to the company's commitment to employee welfare and retaining high-quality personnel for key infrastructure projects.
A visit to the workforce on the frontline
Among those present was Mr. Dang Ba Hoang, a road roller operator from Nghe An province, who has worked with DEOCA GROUP for over eight years. He expressed his joy at the Chairman’s direct visit and encouragement at the start of the new year.
“I have been working with the Group for eight years. Before coming to the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project, I was assigned to the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao project. Today, I am very happy to receive the Chairman’s visit and encouragement right at the construction site. We promise to do our best, overcoming all difficulties to fulfill the mission entrusted by the leadership”, said Mr. Ba Hoang.
The Chairman’s visit at the beginning of the year served as a great source of encouragement, demonstrating his deep concern for the workforce. With the collective determination of all employees, engineers, and workers, the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project is steadily progressing toward the goal of route connection by the end of 2025.
Later in the afternoon, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang visited the Memorial Site of former Prime Minister Pham Van Dong in Quang Ngai province to offer incense in tribute. During the visit, he also provided a brief report on the project's progress, existing challenges, and ongoing solutions to ensure timely completion.
