From March 12 to March 14, Deo Ca Group, in collaboration with Phuc Hung Private General Hospital, organized health checkups for workers at Tunnel No. 3, under package XL3 of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project. This group of workers undergoes routine health examinations every six months.

Workers undergo blood tests

The health checkups were conducted directly at the project site’s management offices for workers' convenience. During this session, over 600 staff members, engineers, and workers working at Tunnel No. 3 underwent general health screenings, blood tests, blood pressure measurements, chest X-rays, abdominal and thyroid ultrasounds, respiratory function tests, and vision examinations. Notably, doctors also provided consultations on occupational disease prevention and guidance on maintaining good health in this unique working environment.

Nguyen Van Nghia, a shotcrete worker at the southern section of Tunnel No. 3, shared: Working in a tunnel means constant exposure to dust and loud noise. Having regular health checkups reassures me about my health condition and helps detect occupational diseases early so that they can be addressed promptly”.

Similarly, Dinh Hoai Dong, a welder at the site, said: Health checkups not only help identify potential health issues early but also provide valuable advice on protecting ourselves when working in environments with welding fumes and high temperatures”.
