On the afternoon of September 11 in Tuyen Quang, a ceremony was held to launch the emulation campaign “100 days and nights to complete package 24: Construction of bridges along the route under Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1)”.

The overview of the ceremony.

At the event, Mr. Le Duc Tranh, Director of the Executive Board for package 24, reported that 152 pieces of equipment and 230 personnel had been mobilized on site, with construction being carried out simultaneously at 50 fronts.

The project has encountered several challenges, including extreme geological conditions and adverse weather. However, to ensure the project stays on schedule, the Management Board has implemented a range of comprehensive solutions. Personnel and equipment have been added in line with detailed schedules and timely adjusted to maintain overall progress. Construction fronts have been reallocated and reinforced in areas that are behind schedule to balance the workload. Additionally, crews and workers have been incentivized with overtime policies and financial support for fronts that surpass schedule targets. Security and camera monitoring systems have been installed at each bridge, along with independent reporting, to control progress and prevent risks, and ensure safety throughout the package.

The Executive Board has also coordinated with the investor and the supervision consultant to set detailed completion milestones for each bridge. Specifically, 4 critical bridges including National Highway 2 bridge, O Ro bridge, 48 bridge, and Ham Yen bridge, are scheduled to have their main structures completed by November 30, while all bridges in the package are targeted for completion before November 15. These are critical path items that will determine the project’s overall completion before December 19, 2025.

He also stressed the importance of coordinating with local authorities and the investor to resolve land clearance issues and develop solutions with contractors to overcome difficulties.
