The DCI is formed based on the synergy of these two entities to conduct in-depth research activities, receive and transfer new and sustainable technologies in the fields of construction, transportation infrastructure, and transportation in Vietnam. It will also provide high-quality personnel trained for businesses and organizations operating in these fields. Additionally, it will advise on technology development policies and strategies for materials and transportation infrastructure in Vietnam.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon congratulated UTH and Deo Ca Group on this new milestone. This is a new and innovative model. With the function of advising the Party, this model will be referenced by the Central Propaganda and Training Commission to incorporate into documents for educational and technological exchange projects.

He also emphasized the innovative approach to enhancing the quality of the workforce and building a team of experts for the transportation industry and other sectors, in line with the Party's Resolution 13 to transform the country into an industrialized nation by 2025.

In addition to providing scientific and technological services in transportation, the DCI will serve as a forum to address policy issues, labor shortages, and training facilities, and will collaborate with universities to propose recommendations to the Government and relevant ministries.

The DCI will focus on four main tasks: providing practical training to students that aligns with business requirements, conducting scientific research, applying and transferring construction technologies, providing technology consultancy and project implementation, and international collaboration with major global enterprises to import suitable training programs and new technologies for Vietnam.

The Deo Ca Research and Training Institute (DCI) has been established with the motto "Knowledge Creates Value" and a strategic connection to create a service supply chain for the current development of the transportation industry. The institute aims to become one of the reputable providers of scientific and technological services in transportation within the country and region, particularly focusing on research and technology transfer in the field of urban railway systems and high-speed railways in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong, the Director of the Road Department, highly appreciates the efforts and sense of responsibility of Deo Ca in the development of the industry, especially in investment and management of road transportation projects.
