On November 18, 2024, in Hanoi, Deoca Group held a productive meeting with Beijing Ruihuaying Science and Technology Development Joint Stock Company (RHY) to explore potential collaboration, particularly in advancing investment in intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

Opening the meeting, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deoca Group, outlined the Group's vision and strategic approach to integrating intelligent transportation technology (ITS) into its flagship projects. Notably, these include the critical Dong Dang - Tra Linh and Huu Nghi - Chi Lang routes, which are slated for operation by 2026.

"Deoca Group is committed to researching and manufacturing ITS solutions in Vietnam to support key transportation projects, thereby fostering the growth of the domestic high-tech industry," Mr. Ho Minh Hoang emphasized. He also expressed his gratitude to the RHY delegation for visiting and collaborating with Deoca Group.

The meeting progressed with fruitful discussions on collaboration opportunities to implement advanced technology solutions in Vietnam. Both sides reached a consensus on partnering to supply and install equipment and software for smart traffic systems, covering infrastructure projects such as highways, tunnels, smart cities, and railways.

Leaders from RHY expressed optimism about the potential for cooperation and mutual growth. Mr. Ly Thien Binh, General Director of RHY, highlighted that the partnership with Deoca Group represents a chance for both sides to leverage their strengths, striving for sustainable advancements in transportation infrastructure development.

He also conveyed his gratitude to Deoca Group for their strong collaboration and the positive outcomes of previous discussions. "Cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and traffic safety are crucial priorities. We look forward to working with Deoca Group to craft innovative solutions for Vietnam's transportation infrastructure," Mr. Ly emphasized.

From a practical implementation standpoint, the RHY representative emphasized that initiating the work from the outset would enable both sides to achieve their objectives more efficiently and effectively. He suggested organizing additional scientific seminars to address technical challenges and identify optimal solutions, laying a strong foundation for the next phase of implementation.

Furthermore, both parties delved into the potential for developing domestic technology products in Vietnam, including equipment, software, and high-tech solutions. They also highlighted the importance of enhancing toll collection connectivity between public investment projects, with the goal of optimizing smart toll collection systems for transportation projects.

The cooperation roadmap between Deoca Group and RHY was outlined in three phases: short-term, medium-term, and long-term. Initially, the focus will be on establishing a robust human resource system and assessing the current state of modern transport technology in Vietnam. Concurrently, the two sides plan to organize seminars and conferences involving management agencies to foster collaboration and identify effective solutions in this field.
