Guided by the principle of effective cooperation for the development of the transport infrastructure sector, the university and the company will leverage the experience of their experienced specialists, lecturers and modern facilities. In addition, the two sides will establish a task force to develop a curriculum that closely aligns with the real-world needs of the transportation industry. The focus will be on training university-level students in critical areas such as road and railway construction, as well as specialized fields including surveying and the operation and management of transportation infrastructure.

Mr. Phan Van Thang, Vice Chairman of DEOCA Group, said the company will create the most favorable conditions for university lecturers to gain hands-on experience and for students to intern and apprentice at DEOCA's ongoing projects. Mr. Phan Van Thang, Vice Chairman of DEOCA Group, spoke at the cooperation signing ceremony.

Mr. Thang emphasized that a high-quality workforce is crucial for a company's sustainable growth. "To ensure our partnership is effective and substantive, the task force should create a plan for implementation, coordination, and supervision, and hold regular meetings to evaluate progress. DEOCA will provide students with internships and corporate semesters, send experts to teach and share hands-on experience, and offer scholarships to outstanding students," he affirmed.

With the government's plans for expressways and high-speed railway development between 2025 and 2030, there will be a significant demand for construction workers. This will create many job opportunities for graduates, while enrollment in construction programs currently remains limited. To address this, General Director Khương Van Cuong proposed that the Group's Human Resources Department work closely with the university to attract more students.

“The curriculum should allocate less time to theory and more to practical coursework, with the goal of producing graduates who can meet businesses’ urgent needs without requiring extensive step-by-step training from companies”, Mr. Cuong said.

He hopes that after the signing, the agreements reached by both parties will be implemented so that the university's training can be closely aligned with the real-world needs of both businesses and the construction industry.

"The university will take into account the feedback from businesses. Only through direct and open discussions can we better understand what companies need, thereby adjusting our training to match the 'industry's taste.' Developing a ‘hands-on’ training program has long been the university’s aspiration." Dr. Nguyen Van Xuan confirmed and emphasized that the university will collaborate with DEOCA Group to design practice-oriented training programs directly on construction sites.
