On November 18, 2019, HCMC University of Technology & Education in collaboration with Deo Ca Group organized a talk show to exchange and signed an agreement on training cooperation and manpower supply.
Attending the program, from Deo Ca Group, there were Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of the BOM, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung - Chairman of the Senior Advisory Council, members of the BOM, BOD, Assistant Board, etc. From the university, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr Do Van Dung - Rector of the university and teachers and nearly 400 students attended.

HCMC University of Technology & Education is the University that Chairman of Deo Ca Group Ho Minh Hoang used to study. During the visit, he sang the song "The way to School" to express his feelings when returning to the old University and gratefulness to the teachers who created the foundation for his knowledge. Today, he come back and shares his practical experiences with the students, adding the fire of will to help them make more efforts in learning. Mr. Ho Minh Hoang sent a message to young people of HCMC University of Technology & Education that they should be more aspirated, more confident to come to life with capability to create real values for life.

Also at this conference, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung told the story of a young man Ho Minh Hoang at the age of only 30, dared to petition the Ministry of Transport to allow to construct Deo Ca tunnel. Through this story, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung tell the students: "We must be determined, must have aspirations, wills, energy and dare to challenge ourselves to achive things that seem impossible".

Deo Ca Group and HCMC University of Technology & Education signed a cooperation memorandum with the purpose of promoting the capacity and strengths of each party, exploiting and effectively utilizing the potentials of facilities, people and expertise in scientific research and training high quality human resources. In addition, every year Deo Ca Group will offer scholarships for students with excellent academic achievements at the University and create conditions for students to participate in practical learning on the projects that the Group is implementing.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), Deo Ca Group donated VND 100,000,000 to the University’s Development Fund and 5 scholarships worth VND 3,000,000 for excellent students in 2019.
