On July 6, 2021, Deo Ca Group held a progress meeting presided over by Chairman Mr. Ho Minh Hoang to report on acivities results of the first 6 months of 2021 and plan activities for the rest of this year.

Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in many localities, the meeting, in which Management Board, Advisory Coucil, Director Board and all specialized departments of Deo Ca Group took part, was held online at the Group's office in Hanoi connecting with other offices in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang.

At the meeting, Office of the Management Board introduced a new senior advisor of the Group. Specifically, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat, who is ex-Chairman of Coucil of National Economics University and ex- Director of the University, a member of the Prime Minister 's Economic Advisory Group for the 2016 - 2021 term, accepted the invitation of the Chairman to join the Advisory Council of the Group.

Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat said: “I am greatly pleased with the invitation of Mr. Hoang to become an senior advisor of Deo Ca Group. I, having lots of experience in macroeconomics education, am very passionate about researching economics, developing financial markets as well as broading my horizon about large economic corporations. This is an opportunity for me to contribute my knowledge in the development of the Group, about which I strongly believe in what I know. During the past two years, the Group had steps of the boldness and breakthrough, for example how to raise its financial resources”.

Returning to other contents of the meeting, representatives of work groups reported the results and put forward the plans. In addition, whole members attending the meeting discussed the situation of Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Express Project contract negotiation, the capital raising scheme for Dong Dang – Tra Linh Expressway Project and the implementation of other projects of the Group.

This meeting also spent many time for leaders to check the compliance with the direction of the Group’s Chairman, assess shortcomings, adjust organizational model, orient key personnel plan, plan activities of the Advisory Council and independent assistants of the Group’s Chairman.

At the meeting, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang paid special attention to the health of employees and the implementation of Trung Luong - My Thuan Express Project in the new situation. According what he said, it is really necessary to be determined to overcome difficulties, ultimate goal is the completion on schedule of the Project, in which the Government and all people in the Melong Delta always expect. Besides, the head of the Group directed to deploy vaccination against the Covid-19 for all members of the Advisory Council, increase the quanlity of employees in a number of the Group’s projects involving urgent implements.
