The event is part of a series of activities to welcome freshmen of 2025, providing a comprehensive view of job opportunities and necessary skills in the field of construction and transportation.

Overview of the seminar.
In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Van Xuan - Principal of the School hoped that the seminar would provide valuable experiences, helping new students open up many options and make the right direction to build a study plan and develop their future careers.
“The care and support of businesses for the school is a source of strength for students on their journey of learning and training, and at the same time opens up great opportunities for them in their future careers,” Dr. Nguyen Van Xuan emphasized. At
At the seminar, Mr. Khuong Van Cuong introduced to the new students the history of formation and corporate culture of Deo Ca Group. From a local cooperative, Deo Ca has grown to become a leading national group in the field of investment in construction of transport infrastructure works, with total investment capital in projects up to 200,000 billion VND. The Group currently has nearly 10,000 employees, 20 member units, and has been implementing more than 650km of expressways, 7 large bridges and 45km of road and railway tunnels.
With the orientation of the national transport infrastructure development planning for the period 2025-2030 on expressways and high-speed railways, the demand for labor force in the transport industry is huge, especially high-quality human resources. This is the wide open door of opportunity for future engineers of MTU.

Mr. Khuong Van Cuong - General Director of Deo Ca Group shared at the seminar.
During the exchange session, the students enthusiastically asked a series of questions focusing on recruitment policies, training opportunities and career development at Deo Ca Group. Sharing about the training issue, Mr. Khuong Van Cuong frankly commented that many current programs are still heavy on theory and encouraged students to "do internships early in the second or third years to accumulate practical experience".
To realize this, the Group is willing to cooperate with MTU to implement the “business semester” model, arrange accommodation and even support salaries for students who meet the requirements.

A student asked a question to the Deo Ca Group.
When asked about recruitment and internship criteria, General Director Khuong Van Cuong affirmed: “The Group always needs talented people, but being talented is not enough, we also have to consider suitability. Suitability is not only in the field of study but also in corporate culture, personal capacity and aspirations” and said that Deo Ca has many leaders in the 8X and 9X age groups holding important positions in the organization.
“Attitude is more important than qualifications and the limit is not in age, but in the aspiration, steadfast will and spirit of continuous effort of each person. As long as you dare to pursue and persevere to the end, the door of opportunity is always open,” Mr. Cuong affirmed.

Awarding 100 million scholarships to MTU students.
Within the framework of the program, Deo Ca Group awarded scholarships worth 100 million VND to students with good academic achievements. This is a practical action showing the school's support in training, while also encouraging new students to continue to strive to study and practice.
Previously, the cooperation between Deo Ca Group and MTU was concretized by strategic cooperation plans. The two sides are actively adjusting and updating training programs, opening new urgent majors such as highway operation management and building information modeling (BIM). In particular, MTU students will have the opportunity to practice at the southern projects of DEOCA Group in the next semester.
