On June 3, 2023, in Phu Yen, the Mien Trung University of Civil Engineering (MUCE) held a ceremony to celebrate ten years of training in Traffic Construction Engineering. Within the program's framework, DEOCA Group agreed to cooperate with the MUCE to train in Traffic Management & Construction.
Panorama of the celebration
According to the Party and State policy, by 2030, the whole country will have 5,000 km of expressway, while only 1,500 km have been completed so far. That means 3,500 km of the expressway will be completed in the next seven years. However, there is a shortage of human resources available for traffic management workloads.
From the year's first days, the Chairman and the Group's delegation worked with the MUCE on the cooperation plan. The two sides have aimed to open the Faculty of Traffic Management & Construction to start enrolling students within the year.
Over the past time, the advisors and assistants of DEOCA have discussed with the MUCE to build a training program suitable to the actual needs of the business, spending a lot of time on practice.
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang spoke
Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of the Group, said the Group would send highly qualified staff to participate in teaching courses. In addition, the Group would coordinate with the school to organize for lecturers and students to visit the management model and participate in practical activities of DEOCA according to specific plans.
DEOCA would recruit committed personnel to study at the MUCE. "We will accompany the MUCE and your students. We will train generations of outstanding quality personnel," said Mr. Ho Minh Hoang.
For this specialized training cooperation to be most effective, the Group also proposed that the MUCE would cooperate in building the DEOCA Training Center. Accordingly, the MUCE would train theoretical topics, and DEOCA would train practical applications.
The two sides have aimed to innovate student training methods, taken practical needs as a measure, and developed appropriate teaching outlines to report to the Ministry of Education and Training for consensus. The Group would participate in the compilation, helping the students approach the real work faster after graduation. For students with exemplary academic achievements, the Group would provide scholarships, organize capacity assessments and create conditions for students to practice in projects.
