Following the successful collaborations with businesses in Laos, China, South Korea, Japan, and other countries, Deo Ca Group has recently established significant partnerships in Denmark and Germany with leading global enterprises in their respective fields.

The working delegation, consisting of key leaders, technology experts from the Deo Ca Group, and some of their partners, has recently visited and collaborated with SOH Wind Engineering, a leading entity in wind tunnel testing, and Witt & Sohn, a top brand in wind fan system equipment for transportation projects

Partnering with top-notch brands

Mr. Ho Minh Hoang, Chairman of Deo Ca Group, raised a concern during internal discussions and shared it at domestic forums, stating, "Why do we always have to go abroad to conduct wind tunnel experiments for our domestic projects?" The leader's preoccupation has presented a challenge for the Deo Ca leadership team to find a solution to take ownership of the technology and proactively engage in testing, inspection, and aerodynamic verification activities for domestic projects instead of relying on foreign expertise.

On October 23, 2023, Deo Ca Group and SOH Wind Engineering signed a cooperation agreement in Copenhagen, Denmark's capital city

Deo Ca Group's future direction involves participating in the construction of cable-stayed bridges and large suspension bridges. This was the driving force behind their recent visit and collaboration with SOH Wind Engineering in Denmark, where they signed a cooperation agreement and discussed the implementation of the first wind tunnel laboratory in Vietnam.

For those interested in the field of wind engineering, SOH Wind Engineering is a well-known name. As a world-leading expert in wind testing and analysis, they specialize in assessing the impact of wind and aerodynamics on high-rise buildings, large suspension bridges, wind measurement devices, wind turbine towers, and other complex structures.

With over 25 years of experience, SOH Wind Engineering has conducted wind impact testing on numerous cable-stayed bridges worldwide, including the Queensferry Bridge in Scotland, the Sotra Bridge in Sweden, the Cadiz Bridge in Spain, and the Gordie Howe Bridge in the United States and Canada. In Vietnam, they have also made their mark with the construction of the Bach Dang Bridge, with each main span measuring 240m in length.

Deo Ca proposes that SOH Wind Engineering participate in and operate a wind tunnel laboratory in Vietnam. Alternatively, SOH Wind Engineering will research technology transfer and collaborate on training the personnel to operate this laboratory.

While working in Germany, Deo Ca has signed a cooperation agreement with Witt & Sohn Company, specializing in ventilation systems and jet fans for industrial projects, tunnels, high-speed railways, etc. In addition to supplying fan systems for its own projects, Deo Ca will also serve as the representative of Witt & Sohn in Vietnam.

Human resources are the "key" to sustainable development.

On the journey to realize the international aspirations of Deo Ca Group, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang emphasized multiple times: "First and foremost, we must excel in domestic work. Then, we strive incessantly to learn and conduct research to produce internationally standardized products."

The Deo Ca Research and Training Institute, a collaboration between Deo Ca Group and Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, brings together leading experts in the field with the aim of training high-quality human resources for the transportation industry. The institute offers practical-oriented training programs, conducts pioneering scientific research, and provides advanced technology consultancy to support project implementation.

The first wind tunnel laboratory in Vietnam, jointly researched and developed by Deo Ca Group and SOH Wind Engineering, will be under the Deo Ca Research and Training Institute. The leading wind fan system partner, Witt & Sohn, will accompany the institute in deepening research and training on ventilation systems and automation for application in transportation infrastructure projects.

Although established in September 2023, the initial steps taken by the Deo Ca Research and Training Institute demonstrate the sense of urgency and seriousness of Deo Ca in its plan to enhance scientific and technological research and human resource training.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tong Tran Tung, Head of the Technical Advisory Team for the Minister of the Ministry of Transport, expressed his viewpoint that in the current context, where many domestic transportation infrastructure businesses are not genuinely concerned about human resources, the collaboration of Deo Ca Group with a training institution to establish the Deo Ca Research and Training Institute exemplifies the pioneering vision and breakthrough of the company in preparing for long-term development in the future.

“The workforce of Deo Ca, especially in terms of personnel, has been remarkably strong. I believe that the company's human resources team will further strengthen and contribute even more to upcoming transportation projects" - commented Assoc. Prof. Tong Tran Tung.
