Building standard rest stations on North – South expressway
On March 23, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, Deo Ca Group and PVOIL have a meeting on investment and business cooperation opportunities in the near future.
The two sides agreed to study the investment in rest stops on the works constructed, managed and operated by Deo Ca, and component projects of the North-South expressway. These rest stops will be built in a standard model, full of related services such as rescue, vehicle maintenance - repair, petrol stations, food - accommodation services and logistics center.
The meeting also discussed the supply of materials and fuels and asphalt for the construction of road projects constructed by Deo Ca. It is expected that the fuel demand of Deo Ca in the period of 2023 - 2025 is up to more than 40 million liters and asphalt is about more than 109 tons.
Currently, the supply of asphalt in Vietnam is completely dependent on imports. Mr. Ho Minh Hoang said that Vietnamese enterprises should research and manufacture this product to proactively supply, avoid dependence on foreign countries.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong - Chairman of the Board of PVOIL agreed with Mr. Ho Minh Hoang's opinion and thanked Deo Ca for creating favorable conditions for PVOIL to cooperate and invest. Mr. Duong highly appreciates the position and prestige of Deo Ca Group in the field of transport infrastructure investment and confirms that PVOIL is ready to meet the demand of Deo Ca with the right quality and quantity at reasonable prices.
The two businesses agreed to continue to focus on researching, and building a specific cooperation roadmap based on the strengths of each side and proceeding to sign a cooperation agreement as soon as possible.
Concretize the Vietnam-Laos railway construction cooperation agreement
Regarding the Vietnam - Laos railway project, in 2 days from March 23 to 24, Deo Ca Group worked with PTL Holding Group, Yooshin (technical consulting unit) and KIND (Korean financial investment organization).
The parties discussed further the Vietnam-Laos Railway Joint Venture Agreement and presented the strengths of each unit. The parties expressed their expectation about investment cooperation opportunities, not only in this project but also in other potential transport infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
Working with Japanese enterprises on bridge construction
At the Hanoi office, Deo Ca Group worked with IHI Group led by Mr. Taki Naoya - Asia Project Manager.
IHI Group is the leading construction contractor in Japan, with strengths in the field of constructing suspension bridges. Currently, the unit is also cooperating with Deo Ca on a bridge project in the South of Vietnam. The two sides discussed the investment activities of BOT projects in Vietnam, the operation and maintenance of the roads and bridges, the application of digital technology, and expressed their desire to cooperate in developing potential projects in the future.
Previously, the delegation of IHI Group visited Love Bridge, Cua Luc 3 Bridge and the sea tunnel constructed by Deo Ca.
