As the year of the Tiger comes to an end, most of the DEOCA Group's employees have returned to their families for the Tet holiday, but the Chairman of the Board remains thousands of kilometers away from his loved ones to create advantages for the Group as we enter the new spring of Quy Mao. The Group’s head still instructs the Board of Directors and Executive Board to care for staff during Tet and other activities.
Like others, at year-end, people not only prepare for external things but also review their achievements and learn from experience. I'm no exception.
I'm honored to join the Chairman's secretary team. Working with the Chairman, advisors, and leaders, I developed skills in teamwork, communication, goal-setting, and work preparation. The Chairman identified my weaknesses and advised me to be confident, decisive, and seek advice to improve. He emphasized the importance of self-awareness and clarity in knowing oneself and responsibilities.
I came across a video on social media that highlighted the dangers of an ungrateful and jealous attitude. The video emphasized the importance of sincerity and gratitude, especially in youth. As we grow older and gain experience, we may start to think highly of ourselves and become complacent. We may start to believe that we are better than others and that our employer is lucky to have us, rather than acknowledging the support and opportunities we have received. This can lead to a toxic mindset where we think that no one can replace us and that our employer does not deserve their success.
These are manifestations that are not lacking in society, in businesses I have been in contact with and also exist in a small part of DEOCA Group. I think that if you don't know where you are and what you can do, you either cannot survive or you cannot develop. And no matter what the case, those thoughts and individuals only hinder the progress of the system.
At DEOCA, some people prioritize themselves over the organization and must change or leave. Some partners don't grasp DEOCA's cultural values of "sincerity" and "gratitude" despite receiving help from the group.
"Gratitude" is a key part of DEOCA's culture, shown through actions like the Chairman's year-end dinner with the Advisory Council, visits to leaders' families to thank them,... These actions motivate the Board of Directors Office to improve themselves.
DEOCA's Chairman described the system using 4 types of plants: trees, cactus, sunflower, and mistletoe. I aim to be a sunflower, always facing the sun and looking forward to the good things ahead.
Kindly send the video for everyone to watch, feel, look back at themselves and strive to accompany DEOCA Group in the new year to achieve many new successes.
