Testing and evaluating secretary staff

On September 13, 2021, Deo Ca Group organized a program to train and evaluate the secretarial skills of secretaries of the General Directors, secretaries of members of the Management Board and some new personnel. The program aims to test the professional knowledge as well as improve awareness, understanding and skills to handle work for each employee. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic situation, the training session was held online via Zoom.

The Evaluation Board consists of 6 members, chaired by Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - Chairman of the Group. The Evaluation Board also include Dr. Nguyen Duc Huong - Member of the Advisory Board, Dr. Nguyen Van Sang - Deputy General Director of the Group, Mr. Pham Minh Phuc – Chairman’s Assistant, musician Le Bao Long - Vice Chairman of Trade Union and Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh - Director of Public Relation Department.

At the program, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang affirmed that manpower is the decisive factor for the development of the business. Therefore, the Group always encourages and creates favorable conditions for employees to participate in learning activities through internal training programs as well as at high-quality university. This is a unique method of human resource training at Deo Ca Group, through the process of "probation - apprenticeship - assistant - management - job planning". In the epidemic outbreaks, besides the tasks of fighting the epidemic and ensuring the projects progress, this is the proper time to re-evaluate the management process and organize internal training. Giving the foundation before giving the position.

The question sets are about 3 main topics: “Deo Ca coporate culture” and musical tools; Behavioral skills and handling situations; Professional skills: Work planning, teamwork, reports and presentations. In addition to general questions about the Group's culture and how to apply the Group's management tools, each contestant will answer practical questions related to the field they are working in. After the answer, they received evaluations and suggestions directly from members of the Evaluation Board.

There are First, Second, and Third prizes with values of VND 5 million, VND 3 million and VND 1 million, respectively. In addition, 5 employees with the best performance will meet and talk with the Chairman of Deo Ca Group.

As a result, Mr. Luong Nguyen Van Phu - Secretary to Vice President Phan Van Thang won the first prize of the contest. The second prize went to Mr. Lam Ngoc Son - Secretary of the General Director of DII, Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy and the third prize was awarded to Mr. Trinh Cong Hai - Secretary of the General Director Nguyen Van Hai.

Assistants and secretaries are effective assistants to the Management Board and the Board of Directors, “the extension hands” of the leader. This is a team is a part of the Group's strategic human resource planning. Skills training and assessment programs for assistants and secretaries are among the annual activities of Deo Ca Group. Through this program, the Group's leaders can make comprehensive assessments from which to consolidate the company’s apparatus from the strategic level, reassign the work to the appropriate and qualified personnel.
