On June 29th, 2019, Mr. Ho Minh Hoang - BOD Chairman of Deoca Group, Mr. Ho Quang Loi - Permanent Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association, Mr. Ho Nghia Dung - Former Minister of Transport, Colonel Pham Xuan Que - Former Head of Phu Yen Police Investigation Agency's Office and Deoca Group’s staffs in the Central visited and gave gifts to orphans at Mang Lang orphanage, An Thach commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province.
Giving gifts to children at Mang Lang orphanage
Deoca Group and Chairman Ho Minh Hoang have done this activity regularly for years.
The BOD Chairman of Deoca Group said Deoca would sponsor medical treatment cost for the children at the orphanage. Mr. Ho Minh Hoang asked the leaders of the Group in the central to pay more attention to the lives of the children at Mang Lang orphanage by specific activities such as; rewarding academic achievements, organizing birthdays, etc for the children.
Former Minister Ho Nghia Dung presented gifts to nuns at the orphanage
“If any child achieves a high academic achievement in junior high school education, the Group will sponsor him/her during the senior high school education and after graduation, will continue create conditions for him/her to work in the Group”, Mr. Hoang said.
Mang Lang orphanage is a place to receive abandoned children and some elderly people with disabilities. In this orphanage, every abandoned life is of different circumstances. The nuns care, nurture and teach them as their own children. Every day, the children still go to school and have fun with their peers.

Nun Lien said that Mang Lang orphanage was raising 25 children and 8 disabled people. The youngest was just 13 months old, the oldest was in grade 11. “Most of them are orphans from hospitals. Not only children in Phu Yen, there are children from Ho Chi Minh City” Nun Lien said.
Nun Lien also said that in order to have funding, in addition to the donations of individuals, organizations throughout the country, the nuns transplanted 3 acres of rice to feed the children.

Mang Lang orphanage was founded in 1988. From the beginning, the facility management and child care and education were covered by the nuns. This orphanage is located behind Mang Lang church, the ancient catholic church with European style unique and impressive architecture, one of the oldest churches in Phu Yen in particular and Vietnam in general.

This place is also recognized as a place to store the first national language book of Vietnam. For more than 100 years, Mang Lang church is a historical witness on the peaceful and beautiful coastal area of Central Vietnam.
